Noble Gideon is a 4th generation Railroader. His great grandfather worked for the L&N, grandfather for the Illinois Central Railroad, and his father worked 44 years for the Illinois Central / Canadian National railroad. He has over 15 years’ experience working as a contractor. He sharpened his track maintenance skills @ Union Pacific Railroad as a Ballast regulator and Jackson 6700 tamper operator. Noble later moved into a foreman position where he worked daily with his peers to eliminate service interruptions across Union Pacific’s Southern region. He later became an EIC where he oversaw siding extension projects from planning phase to completion. Noble has oversaw several industrial track revitalization projects from around the Mid-South area ranging from $1,000 – $1.2 million. He is trained and certified Track Inspector with FRA 213.7 A-D. He has gone through multiple classes for On Track Safety with NS, NRSS, CSX,& CN. Noble came on board with Fortis as a Key member to bring Fortis out of the shadows and into focus with his cunning ability to read the track and help customers get it right the first time and not try to patch the problem. He will tell you that his best attribute is his wife Ashley who he has been married to for nearly 10 years. They have 2 lovely girls, Mila and Maya.
